Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient Charleston location.
With easy driving access to downtown Charleston across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge and plenty of local attractions, including museums and memorials dedicated to the area's naval history, guests love the Mount Pleasant location of this Extended Stay America hotel.
positive:
Spacious and comfortable rooms.
Whether you're a solo business traveler on an overnight trip, or you're coming with the family on a longer stay, you should find that the rooms are comfy, spacious, and stocked with plenty of amenities. The larger rooms with multiple beds are great value for families, while the kitchens mean that you can self-cater.
positive:
Plenty of parking spaces onsite.
You don't have to worry about finding somewhere to park, since there are plenty of spaces available onsite, giving you convenience and peace of mind that your car is close by. Plus, it's free, so it's a great extra adding value to your stay, and saving you money to spend on having fun in Charleston.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit drab and dated.
The brown color scheme doesn't exactly wow guests, and many of them say that the hotel overall is a little dated and worn. It needs some renovation work to replace old, stained carpets and older items of furniture, and a brightening up of the decor wouldn't go amiss either.
negative:
Limited housekeeping services.
While guests say that the staff is friendly, the service is somewhat limited, particularly housekeeping, which only happens once a week. In addition, many extras like coffee pots and hairdryers have to be requested from the front desk, and this isn't always made obvious to guests.
negative:
Grab-n-go breakfast only.
The continental breakfast leaves something to be desired for many guests - if you like a decent sit-down meal for breakfast with a choice of fresh dishes, then you may be underwhelmed here.
