Newcomers reported being greeted promptly and warmly by staff, who were very keen to assist with any problems or queries as and when they arose. This made a tremendous impression and raised the profile of this property considerably, with many taking the time to mention and praise staff by name in their reviews.

The units here were praised for their overall tidy and spacious appearance. This property was especially popular with long-staying guests, who found that they had all they needed for a more than comfortable experience.

Handy for the downtown area as well as for Wrightsville, Carolina and Kure beaches plus many nearby restaurants, guests commented that the location of this property allowed for easy access to a number of Wilmington attractions.

No amenities were included at this no-frills property and many were dismayed to find that a number of services necessitated the payment of an additional fee. Guests were particularly annoyed at having to pay for Wi-Fi access.

There were consistent reports of newcomers being bothered by the noise of existing guests here. Shouting in corridors seemed to be a particular problem at this property.

Many reported experiencing booking problems here and this appeared to be especially prevalent among those who reserved via third-party sites. These guests arrived only to be told that their booking was not in the property's guest reservation system. This, understandably, started a number of stays off on the wrong foot.
