With world famous attractions such as the Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi Fountain all within walking distance, many former guests were thrilled with the Esedra Inn's location. Furthermore, the accommodation was also described as being situated in a quiet and peaceful area of the city.

Recent visitors to the guest house were typically happy with the standard of the rooms. As well as containing comfortable beds and nice en-suite facilities, the rooms were said to be very clean overall.

The breakfast served up by the Esedra Inn was regularly criticised by former visitors. It was regularly claimed that the continental breakfast was lacking variety, quantity, and was mainly composed of substandard packaged food.

With the front desk reportedly only operated on a limited hour basis, this has caused some grievance for previous guests at times. Along with not being available during later hours, the guest house's staff members were also labelled as not the most communicative with limited English.

Whilst only a minor point in the grand scheme of things, numerous past visitors complained about not being able to find the Esedra Inn. It was stated that, despite its great location, the guest house was difficult to find initially - especially at night.
