Hotel Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk-Downtown (San Antonio, USA)

From the valet service to the luxury rooms with balconies overlooking Riverwalk to the gourmet breakfast omelets, guests were more than satisfied with their Embassy Suites experience. They loved the modern and elegant decor and summed up the hotel as excellent, amazing and fantastic. The on-site brasserie, Luke, which features French and German cuisine received rave reviews from a number of guests with some describing it as an unforgettable dining experience.

The hotel's staff drew top marks from guests for friendliness and efficiency. Guests singled out some staff by name for their willingness to do whatever was necessary to ensure a memorable stay.

Guests could stand on their balconies and watch boats on the San Antonio River, or take a short stroll down to Riverwalk and enjoy the numerous restaurants, bars and trendy boutiques. Those who stayed at Embassy Suites for several days said they never had to use their cars because everything was within walking distance.

Embassy Suites does not offer free self-parking and some guests found the daily charge for valet parking a little steep.

While most guests at Embassy Suites were more than satisfied with their accommodations, some complained that carpets had not been adequately cleaned, others found the furnishings a bit dated and there were a few reports about plumbing problems.

A few guests were disappointed to find the pool closed for service, others were inconvenienced by maintenance taking place in hallways and elevators.
