A convenient, central location..
Guests often choose the Embassy Suites Lincoln for the many attractions within walking distance, including the Haymarket district, Saturday morning Farmer's Market, the University of Nebraska, Lied Center, and many more.
positive:
Compliments to the chef..
Many guests describe the complimentary breakfast buffet as "exceptional" for its impressive variety of hot and cold options and the sunny atrium setting. Hungry guests gratefully single out the hard-working omelet chefs and wait staff for keeping the line moving and clearing the tables promptly, always with a smile. The nightly Manager's Reception is well appreciated as well.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A noisy night for some..
Several guests reported unsupervised young kids running along the courtyard hallways or else riding the glass elevator continuously, and wished that the hotel staff had stepped up sooner to address the issue with their parents. Others were woken up by inconsiderate guests returning from a late night out or by noisy heating or cooling systems.
negative:
Parking costs extra..
Several guests were irritated by the charge for self parking in the nearby city lot, as the hotel does not have its own lot or garage. However, most who opted for valet parking found the attendants to be reasonably prompt and professional.
negative:
Wear and tear..
Some guests note that the Embassy Suites Lincoln is an older building, and that the furnishings and decor have gone beyond their best-before dates. The sofa beds are often described as "worn-out", and a few guests also had housekeeping or maintenance oversights to report.
