Convenient location
Air travelers appreciate the five-minute commute to the airport, and many guests enjoy the view of planes overhead without any noise issues. The downtown area is within a 15-minute drive, and the Maine Mall, and the Maine coast's many beaches, are also easily accessible as the hotel is close to several major highways.

A warm welcome and comfortable room.
The front desk staff have received many rave reviews for their pleasant and professional customer service, with several travel-weary guests gratefully noting that they were met with a warm welcome in the wee hours of the night. The rooms are generally described as comfortable, clean, and spacious. The two-bedroom suites are a particularly great value for big families and groups of friends traveling together.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Don't drink the water..
Several guests were unpleasantly surprised by the price tag on the bottled water in their rooms, particularly given how many other extras are provided for "free".
negative:
Where there's smoke..
Several guests have noted that the third floor is 'pet friendly' and also has some smoking rooms. Despite the housekeeping team's best efforts, some guests find that the odour from one source or the other is an issue. A few others were disturbed to find pets in the breakfast area, though this is against the hotel's policy (service animals excepted).
negative:
Smaller bathrooms..
A few guests found the bathrooms to be on the small side, particularly in comparison with other Embassy Suites locations.
