Hotel El Faracha (Sousse, Tunisia)

Guests love the fact that the hotel is central and in easy reach of the main attractions. However, the main draw seems to be that is is just a short stroll to the beach.

The hotel isn't luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. At the rates it offers, guests feel like they have excellent value for money. It is a safe and secure place to rest their heads in the heart of the town.

The staff are considered to be welcoming and friendly, but with the right dose of discretion and respect.

If you want to be in the heart of Sousse, you probably have to accept a bit of noise. Regular calls to prayer, locals talking in the streets, the sound of motorbikes passing by or even the cries of cockerels are part and parcel of life in the town! Some guests think though that the soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired and that even the personnel can make too much of a din.

Located in a dead end street, guests put up with the not very pretty surroundings for the hotel's central location and the value for money it offers. Still, some find the dirty bins left around and the empty buildings a bit off-putting and don't think much of the views from their balconies!

The breakfasts didn't leave a lot to be desired for some guests. They are a bit stale, not very inspiring and not there's not a lot of it! It is OK for one or two days, but as it always seems to be exactly the same everyday it gets a bit monotonous and boring after a while.
