Positive Reviews
positive:
Peace and quiet.
This is the quieter, northern end of Mallorca so not nearly as frenzied as some of the other resorts. It couldn’t be better really, because if you’re hankering for a change of scene, there’s a bus stop a few minutes away with routes to Deja, Valdermossa, Soller and Palma. At the end of the day, this is a friendly resort geared to families.
positive:
Nice staff and rooms.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating and rooms are well equipped and clean. It’s worth digging a bit deeper and investing in one with a balcony though; more space and some welcome fresh air in the summer heat. There are 2 lifts so no need to worry about stairs.
positive:
Shopping? They’ll take you for a ride.
The resort itself is ultra quiet with very few shops etc. It’s only a short bus or train ride though to the town of Soller itself. It’s here that you’ll find shops, boutiques, etc.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Too many extras.
There are plenty of attractions and facilities here but many come with an additional fee. Take advantage of them all and your holiday funds will dwindle away during the first few days.
negative:
Unimaginative menus.
Breakfast is OK but unimaginative and evening dinner is very samey. It’s not really worth hanging around for these, though, when a few minutes away you can sit in one of a number of friendly, excellent restaurants, enjoy tapas and just watch the world go by.
negative:
Not much for kids to do.
This is a very quiet, laid back sort of place + perfect for those who just want to relax + unwind. Very few kids, though, can relate to this concept!
