negative:
It's not a great place for a stroll
A few guests were disappointed that there were not any shops or restaurants that they could walk to from the hotel, beyond a grocery store and liquor store. It is located right off of a busy highway that does not have sidewalks, making walking to the many surrounding businesses impossible.
negative:
It could use a little upkeep
Many guests experienced small maintenance issues during their stay. They noticed things like peeling wallpaper, A/C units and toilets that made too much noise, phones that did not work, and other minor things that detracted from their experience.
negative:
It's just "okay"
Many reviews expressed that while there was nothing terrible about this hotel, there was nothing exceptional about it either. Several previous guests said that they would highly recommend it for a night, especially for guests on a tight budget, but that if they were to return to Austin for a longer trip they would probably choose somewhere else.
