Cleanliness was by far the most common, and most serious, issue guests experienced. They mentioned a variety if issues, but a disturbing number reported that their bed sheets were simply not clean when they checked in, with stains and items between the sheets being particular problems. Some decided to sleep on top of the bed.

Guests really were not happy with the value for money they received during their stay. They felt that the hotel had numerous issues and that the room rate should be rock bottom to reflect this. They did not regard the prices as being especially low so left unhappy with what they had received.

Quite a number of guests mention that they found the breakfast to be exceptionally basic. It was a meal of cereal, a hot drink and maybe a pastry or muffin. Guests mentioned no hot food available at all, with the general feeling being that the meal wasn’t worth bothering with.
