All-you-can-eat breakfast
The wide variety of self-serve breakfast which included rare Vegan choices, yoghurts, eggs, jams, cereals, coffee, juices, and selection of bagels and breads were well organised and highly satisfying according to guests. They also enjoyed socialising with other guests from different parts of the world at the breakfast area which was a memorable experience.
positive:
Practical position near Toronto's attractions
The property's nearness to Barbara Hall Park and Yonge-Dundas Square is one of the main reasons why guests prefer this inn. It is also close to Toronto's major establishments like restaurants, shopping areas, bars, and major transport systems such as the subway.
positive:
Big and bouncy beds
Guests considered the beds here to be one of the best they have ever slept on. The beds were huge enough for two adults and had extremely fresh, clean, and comfortable bedding, linens, and sheets. They also loved the extra daybed provided as an addition.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Inconvenient shared bathroom
There were a total of two shared bathrooms on-site with five rooms sharing the same bathroom. The uncomfortable location of one of the bathrooms upstairs was also very disappointing to the guests, especially those who were assigned to the ground floor area, since they had to walk upstairs just to the use the bathroom.
negative:
Noticeable noise due to poor soundproofing
Previous guests complained about various irritating noise. Banging of doors, heavy footsteps that can be heard because of wooden flooring, and the loud noises in the morning due to the close proximity of the kitchen area to some rooms are reported.
negative:
Steep stairs instead of lift
Guests were disappointed with the lack of lift on-site. They had to manually climb the steep and long stairway, which was difficult for elderly individuals, handicapped persons, or those who were carrying large suitcases.
