Guests loved the warm atmosphere at this small, family-run outfit on the outskirts of Ballina. Overall, staff here were friendly and attentive, but in addition to this, many felt that this property offered a good base from which to explore County Mayo. Golfing, salmon fishing and coastal excursions are all a short hop from this hotel and quite a few were delighted to find that the centre of Ballina was also accessible by local transport.

Despite many reporting solid stays, visitors couldn't help but comment on the dated exterior of this hotel. This theme unfortunately continued inside, where many were disappointed to find an equally bleak interior. Old furniture and peeling wallpaper were a common theme.
