Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Springfield (Springfield, USA)

Previous guests at this hotel wrote very complimentary and positive reviews about their experiences with the staff who were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to ensure that there needs were attended to as a priority.

Houlihan's restaurant which is attached to the hotel right, next door was a hit with many previous guests, whether it be for a quick drink or a bite to eat with family and friends. Guests mentioned both the fantastic food and the excellent drinks selection.

Traveler's who accessed the gym were really impressed by the standard of equipment which helped them to get in their much needed workout. Guests also remarked that the pool was very clean and a great area to relax in after a long day of sightseeing.

Some guests did not have a smooth check-in experience at the hotel and this was reflected in their reviews which detailed experiences such as Honors membership not being recognised, reservation requests not being met and lost reservations.

Some guests had the unfortunate experience of staying next to very loud and noisy neighbours which disrupted their stay.  Some of these guests suggested that perhaps the hotel could invest in a little more sound-proofing between rooms to ward against noisy neighbours.

Some guests thought the hotel needed some work to bring it into line with other Doubletree hotels, with some commenting that the furniture and the soft furnishing were a bit on the shabby side and could use some TLC and some updating.
