DoubleTree San Diego - Mission Valley is conveniently located. It is adjacent to the San Diego Trolley, which offers a ride to many of the city's top tourist destination, such as Old Town, Little Italy, San Diego Zoo and the Gaslamp Quarter.

If you are a big fan of Starbucks coffee, you will love the bar inside the establishment. Furthermore, the Fountain Café and Windows Lounge are well reviewed by guests. Aside from the affordable and delicious products, you get to enjoy the fantastic service from the staff members.

The hotel provides a free Wi-Fi connection in the entire establishment. However, many guests complained about the slow connection. You can visit the cafes where there's also a free Wi-Fi, or you can just bring your own Internet device.

All rooms are fully furnished, well maintained, and spacious. However, some feel that the walls are too thin because they can hear conversations from adjacent rooms or noise coming from the hallways. When you experience this issue, you can ask for a room transfer.

Some of the guests reviewed the elevators in the hotel as 'the slowest elevators in the planet'. This is pure exaggeration, but you may find it too that the elevators could be slow. You can always take the stairs for a challenge, but waiting patiently is not that big deal.
