This place enjoys a lovely location overlooking a river and is a short eight minute drive from both the Lafayette Regional Airport and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Downtown Lafayette can be reached in just seven minutes by car.

Everyone working at this hotel has been well-trained, they know exactly how to make you feel welcome and deal with any issues that arise. Just chat to a staff member and they’ll share all their knowledge about attractions and amenities nearby.

A little more attention needs to be paid to proper cleaning and maintenance at this hotel, too many things are being overlooked. One example is housekeeping not always emptying trash cans in the rooms each day.

Perhaps the biggest issue with this hotel is the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. It’s very easy to hear people talking in the hallways and this can be disturbing when you’re trying to get some shut eye. Pack some earplugs just in case!

If you need to stay connected to the internet then don’t rely completely on the free Wi-Fi offered here. Some of the rooms have a poor signal and the speed can be infuriatingly slow at times.
