The 5485 restaurant on-site got very positive reviews by those who stayed at this hotel with many previous travellers leaving tips for future guests to make sure that they eat and drink in the restaurant as the food served was excellent quality.

Some guests thought that this Doubletree was good value for money given the size of the rooms and the hotel's amenity for the price paid, especially when compared to other hotels in the area at a similar price point.

Some guests, especially those travelling though Columbia onto other destinations commented in their reviews that they found the hotel very easy to access and very convenient to highway 95. Guests also particularly appreciated the free and ample parking.

Some guests left reviews that were not very complimentary at all regarding the job done by housekeeping staff, with guests having to search for additional toilet paper, tissues, extra linen and other extra supplies.

A general theme running through a number of reviews was the sub-standard level of customer service experienced at the hotel with some commenting that it was often difficult to get a hold of staff to assist with their additional requirements.

Some visitors had the unfortunate experience of not being able to use the normally provided shuttle to get to nearby attractions, as the hotel informed them that the shuttle could not be driven due to the hotel being under-staffed, which left guests frustrated at having to find another source of transport.
