Hotel Dos Mares (Panama City, Panama)

Unlike other hotels in the same area, many guests say their trip was even more enjoyable since they saved money on the hotel room. This hotel is great for travelers on a budget.

How clean is a whistle? Very.  Many guests were absolutely astounded by how the rooms were taken care of. They state that when the cost is low, so are your expectations, but that this was not the case with this hotel.

This hotel is located very close to all the shopping areas, so there is always something to do. Many guests state that one of the main reasons they stayed was for the great location and access to various restaurants, entertainment, and the shopping centers were minutes from the door.

While the hotel location is amazing, the fixtures and furnishings are about what you would expect for the price. Many guest have had repeated issues with air conditioners that only blew hot air, broken toilets, and in general a hotel needing some repairs.

Being located directly in Panama City the hotel is surrounded by the concrete jungle on most sides. That being said it gives the outdated place a sketchy feel. Many guests have stated the place didn’t feel safe.

Guests reported their reservations being lost and not getting any help at all to fix it. Whether this is a ploy to get more money or simply a technological mishap it is still a serious issue regardless. Guests say if you decide to stay make sure your reservations are actually saved.
