The staff at Dobbins Inn are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. You'll be greeted warmly upon arrival and any issues or problems you bring to their attention will be dealt with swiftly. You can get yourself a really tasty meal in the pub as well.

If you want to stay somewhere with a bit of character which nods to its past, then you'll be happy here. This old building and the town both have lots of very interesting history attached to them and it's really fascinating to be able to educate yourself while there.

The location of the property is very good. It is right next to Carrickfergus Castle and St. Nicholas Church and there is plenty to see and do in the area. The train station is close by as well, meaning it's easy to venture further afield.

The Wi-Fi at Dobbins Inn isn't the best. You might find that the signal doesn't stretch as far as your guest room and, even if it does, that the connection is quite poor. You may have a frustrating experience when trying to spend any decent amount of time online.

While very tasty, breakfast can be a little bit minimal, meaning you may not feel completely satisfied when you leave to go about your day.

This building isn't the quietest. Previous guests have noted that they were disturbed by doors slamming and by the loud plumbing. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring your earplugs with you.
