Hotel Desert Mirage Inn & Suites (Needles, USA)

The hotel has a shuttle that goes to the downtown area. It takes you early in the day and comes back in the evening. Very convenient when you want to get away and you don't have your own transportation.

The personnel are friendly and helpful. They don't have too much to work with but they do try to stretch the services that they have. Complaints are taken care of as quickly as possible and requests are adhered to.

The hotel is not so appealing on the exterior; however, the interior makes up for some of the slack. The rooms are well-equipped with the basic amenities like a flat-screen TV, microwave, and all the other necessities that travelers enjoy while on the road.

It appears that visitors to the hotel have to do their own maintenance. There seems to be issues with the air conditioning; however, upon further inspection it's the filter in most cases, which the visitors themselves have managed to reveal and clean!

You may find the bathroom tub, shower, the bed comforter, and the shower curtain need a good washing. These are things that the cleaning staff seem to overlook at the hotel. There have also been instances of stained sheets, towels, bedspread, carpet, and even a dead bug or two on the bed. Nevertheless, this may not be the case with every room.

The hotel is close to the highway, so it can get pretty noisy. In addition, motorcycles are allowed to park near the downstairs rooms. If you've ever heard someone start up their motorcycle, especially early in the morning, you get an idea of what you might be in for.
