Negative Reviews
negative:
Accommodation lacks a lift
One of the most common negatives attributed to the Hotel des Arts relates to the lack of a lift within the building. With that in mind, previous visitors have also noted that it can be a struggle to carry luggage up the hotel's narrow, winding staircases.
negative:
Breakfast a basic affair
If breakfast is an important aspect of your hotel experience, the Hotel des Arts is perhaps best avoided - according to the overall feedback of past guests. Both the quality and, in particular, variety of the hotel's breakfast were criticised at times.
negative:
Rooms missing tea/coffee facilities
Although a minor point overall, the omission of tea and coffee facilities was disappointing for various former guests of the hotel. This negative was seen as all the more perplexing due to the rooms containing a kettle.
