Hotel Del Sole (Milan, Italy)

Many guests mention the man at reception to be a very nice individual and he is remembered nicely by many guests. They thought he was very helpful and kind, and made guests feel at ease. He spoke a fair English and communicated well with guests.

The rooms are said to be comfortable and cosy for most guests who were expecting to stay in a room with the basics covered. The rooms were also thought to be clean and tidy, so many guests appreciated having these matters taken care of.

The hotel is in a good location and within a short walk from the many bars and restaurants. Guests were able to walk from the hotel to the shopping areas of Milan and to the various metro stations. It was easy to get around the city.

The street and the metro station were loud and noisy during the day and the traffic at night was too much for some guests. The sound was not blocked or reduced by the windows at all and some would have liked a quieter option.

The stairs were found to be very small and steep which made it difficult for guests to take their luggage up to their rooms. There is also no lift available for people who truly need it.

The shared bathrooms were a bit of an annoyance for some guests who wished they would have booked private facilities. They thought it was not convenient at all to share bathrooms.
