Hotel Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio North/Stone Oak (San Antonio, USA)

Vacationers loved the location of Days Inn San Antonio North Stone Oak. It's nearby many major attractions including Sea World San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio River Walk, and The Alamo. There are also many shops and restaurants in the area, and San Antonio International Airport is only five miles away.

Nearly every review had something nice to say about the employees. Guests who had special requests found them to be handled promptly and efficiently. The staff were very helpful in providing recommendations for places to eat, and directions to the attractions in San Antonio that avoided congested traffic.

Few guests could find fault with the cleanliness of the rooms. It was clear to everyone who stayed that the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. All the common areas of the hotel were also very well maintained.

Assessments of the complimentary breakfast buffet ranged from merely adequate to sub-standard. Reviewers complained of flavorless eggs and sausage, weak coffee, and the general suspicion that everything came fresh from the freezer. Some guests also felt that the buffet line was not kept stocked.

Many guests with reservations were disappointed that the hotel did not turn the room's A/C unit on in advance of their arrival, as some other hotels do. Though the A/C's work well, San Antonio has temperatures that reach the 100's in the summer, and as such it took some time for their room to cool down.

The hotel does have smoking rooms on the first floor. A few guests were bothered by the smell, which had a tendency to carry over to the hotel's first floor common areas, including the front desk.
