Staff are always welcoming and really helpful. They'll advise on best value restaurants nearby and also on things to do for kids .. so they don't get bored and ruin the holiday!

There are few frills here but all the essentials are clean, modern and in tip top working order. Pay more, only if you want more!

It's only a 15-minute drive to the metro station and little more than double that journey time from the station in to Washington DC. Couldn't be better! Later and just across the street; lose your inhibitions and enjoy a drink, a laugh and good company in the local gay and lesbian bar. Why not!

It's not an attractive location, with lots of transits coming and going across the street. Plus, the second hand car store adds little to the area's attraction. Yes, the area is a bit of a 'dive'...but it is the only 'dive' here, because the inn doesn't have a pool! Frankly, the absence of a pool is the only major let down.

Eggs and toast do form a breakfast 'choice' in the true sense of the word but, practically, this is a pretty poor offering to place before paying guests.

When they use a really pungent cleaner on the floors and throughout, rightly or wrongly you wonder what, if any, are the problems they are concealing. All seems OK here on that front ... but the smell of concentrated disinfectant continues. Wonder why!
