Excellent Portland Area Location
This hotel is located about one half mil from the train platform and bus lines, and offers quick access to the I-5. It's about two blocks away from the MAX light rail line for easy access into the heart of Portland. This hotel is also close to Jantzen Beach Center and the Expo Center. Plus, there are many restaurants nearby, as well as a Wal-Mart and convenience store.

Breakfast Exceeds Expectations
Guests say the free breakfast is well-stocked and better than expected. It even includes sausage, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The coffee is good and they offer it 24/7 along with a variety of teas. You'll also find fruits, breads, rolls, and hot and cold cereals. This is an excellent way to start your day.

The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Guests say the staff are genuinely nice and really seem to care about you. They have great knowledge of the local area and are able to give excellent recommendations and directions.

Hotel Construction Disruptive
As of July 2016, this hotel is undergoing construction which can be a bit inconvenient as they are working in common areas like stairwells. Guests say it feels like quite a bit of noise and mess from the construction. You may want to check ahead on the progress if you feel this will be too disruptive.

Airport Shuttle Issues
This hotel offers an airport shuttle, however, many guests are discouraged that the service is limited and only runs on weekdays for limited times during the day. If you need to get to the airport on a weekend day, you'll most likely need to catch a cab, which guests say can be a bit expensive.
