The air-conditioning system is pretty effective on keeping the temperature down and the rooms comfortable.

There is an on-site pool which is relatively clean and an ideal place to relax after a long day travelling or exploring the area.

This hotel has an enviable location with lots of restaurants and fast food outlets on the same street. The lake is just minutes away by car and the Walmart is convenient to stock up on the basics, especially if you are staying here for more than one night.

Previous guests have not felt safe at this hotel. This has been for various reasons including fire extinguishers in a poor state of disrepair, police on site demanding to see people, a burning smell and lots of litter strewn everywhere. There has also been allegations of thefts, fights and damage to property here.

Although the hotel advertises a continental breakfast guests feel this is completely misleading as all it consists of is some stale coffee and cheap muffins. Most guests have ended up having to go elsewhere for breakfast.

One of the biggest disappointments here has to be the standards of cleanliness. Rooms are not refreshed properly each day and are not cleaned thoroughly enough when the previous guests vacate the room. Guests have gone as far as to suggest that towels and bedding has not been replaced upon check-in either. The smell is very noticeable too, if it is not the stale stench of cigarette smoke it is the musty damp smell you will have to contend with.
