Hotel Days Inn by Wyndham San Jose Convention Center (San Jose, USA)

The location of the inn is close to the central parts of San Jose. The location is well within city limits. Also, it’s accessible to public transportation without being in a very noisy area of town.

Management took care of issues and answered guests’ questions. Visitors said they were friendly and helpful. The front desk helped guests with their schedules and logistics, too. Guests said they liked the service, although many of them did not like the condition of their rooms.

Compared to what hotels run for in the Bay Area, visitors say this place is a fair price, especially given the location. Several guests noted that this inn was the cheapest of all the other options in the area.

Guests reported seeing lots of homesless people in the neighborhood as well as what seemed like people living in their cars at the inn’s parking lot. While guests said this could be a local issue, and not particularly a specific issue for the inn, it didn’t make for a comfortable ambiance.

Guests reported various parts of the motel that just didn’t function. Among them included the air conditioning unit, the Wi-Fi connection, the lamp, the mini-fridge, iron, and hair dryer. Several people said the motel seemed to have fallen into disrepair. Some guests said the rooms didn’t even have blankets.

There have been complaints about shabby sheets, unclean linens and strange smells in the hotel rooms. Some visitors complained that the rooms resembled little of the pictures they saw on the hotel website. They said they saw cockroaches, stain and filth in their rooms.
