The staff at this Lake City, Florida Days Inn location are well-known for their friendly attitude. It seems that they always have a warm welcome ready for arriving guests, something that means an awful lot to road-weary travelers.

Located just off of I-75, those on long-haul journeys across the state found this hotel to be an especially convenient stopping point. Many also appreciated the wide variety of restaurants and eateries located in close proximity to this property.

Finally, many found that this basic hotel offered very good value for money for short stays – especially given its interstate location.

Guests had consistent complaints regarding the overall cleanliness of the rooms here. Strangely sticky and stained carpets, mysterious stains on surfaces, grubby tubs and foul smells were all problems. In terms of sleep quality, the rock hard mattresses had a very negative impact on the overall guest experience. Additionally, there were multiple reports of bed bugs at this property.

There were lots of reports here of noise at night. Many commented that the walls at this Days Inn property do seem to be on the thin side, but many also expressed the overriding feeling that this issue was down to the quality of clientele here. Banging doors, arguments and shouting until the early hours do appear to be an on-going problem.

Finally, many commented that both the interior and exterior of this property need some serious work. The dated ambience had a negative impact on many stays, giving the property a rather seedy air.
