Given its location right off of I-26, this property was very popular with those passing through the area. The nearby highway provided quick access to downtown Charleston, perfect for those looking to head into the city for a day trip.

The pool was the standout amenity here. Situated at the front of the property, the visual impact it had on new arrivals approaching the hotel for the first time was considerable. This feature raised the overall profile of this Days Inn location.

While this accommodation was rather basic, many here on short stays felt that this hotel represented excellent value for money, especially given its proximity to the historic charm of Charleston.

There were consistent problems in bathrooms at this hotel. Guests reported moldy shower curtains, dirty floors around toilets and grimy tubs.

Housekeeping at this property was very hit and miss. Many recent guests reported no issues at all with in-room cleanliness, but an equal number commented that their units looked as if they had not been tidied at all after the previous guests. Dirty linens were also a consistent complaint here.

The check-in process at this hotel also seemed to be inconsistent in terms of speed. While many guests had no trouble at all with procedures, many also complained about having to contend with a painfully slow check-in. Also, for those who opted for breakfast, the lack of fresh fruit was a consistent complaint.
