Positive Reviews
positive:
Local amenities close at hand.
As well as being very easy to access from the freeway, this Days Inn & Suites hotel is also located close to numerous restaurants and shops, as well as cultural attractions, such as the submarine museums and local arts centers. Plus, you'll be just a 20-minute drive from the casinos.
positive:
Homely, well-laid out rooms.
Whether you're a solo traveler or you've got the family in tow, there's a room or suite here for you, with the right number of beds and the facilities you need. Some of the suites have their own kitchenettes, for easy self-catering, and all have plenty of space and comfortable beds for you to enjoy.
positive:
Decent leisure facilities.
Whether you want to catch a movie or have some fun in the pool, there are numerous ways to relax and unwind at this hotel. Guests comment on the wide choice of channels and the modern TV sets in their rooms, while the outdoor pool is perfect for when you don't want to be cooped up indoors.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It's a bit outdated.
This aging hotel could do with a facelift - not only is the decor past its best, but certain items within the rooms are starting to falter. Guests have particularly commented on the air conditioning units, which often seem to be noisy or slightly leaking, and not brilliantly efficient.
negative:
Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
If you're happy with a simple bowl of cereal and a piece of toast, then you won't mind the free breakfast offered here. It can get a bit dull if you're staying for a few days, however, and guests would like to see a bit more choice. Plus, the breakfast slot isn't very long, so it's easy to miss altogether.
negative:
The smell of smoke pervades the corridors.
Apparently, merely selecting a non-smoking room doesn't mean you'll be immune from cigarette smoke, since guests say you can smell it all through the corridors. Some guests have also ended up in smoking rooms, despite requesting the opposite.
