Hotel Cubanacan Mariposa (Havana, Cuba)

Most visitors have described the Cubanacan Mariposa as basic, but really clean and well-appointed. Rooms are spacious enough for a couple or a family, while all the basics you might need are all available, like a comfortable bed and crispy white sheets.

The staff at this hotel have received many compliments for their excellent dedication to serving their customers. Whether you need a light snack or a drink brought to your room, there is nothing much that they will not attend to.

The breakfast is pretty decent, according to many visitors, whether you feel like starting your day with some juice, or coffee and toast, the choice is yours. Guests are pleased with the eggs, bacon, and variety of breads, while the coffee is great too.

There have been a few comments about the fact that you would need to drive to most of the local attractions, or any night life you might want to attend is not within walking distance. Make sure you do arrive with your own vehicle, or you might be stuck.

If you are young, or young at heart, and wanting to try out all the local restaurants, bars and night life, then make sure you have your own transport. There have been a number of complaints from youngsters that there is nothing much for them to do that is within walking distance.

If you are a night owl that's great, however many guests were frustrated with the loud noise that came from the downstairs bar. The drinks are well priced and the snacks are good, but for some guests all they wanted was a good night's sleep.
