Hotel Crystal Cove Beach Resort (Red Hook, US Virgin Islands)

Guests here like being close to Red Hook and its eclectic atmosphere with plenty of restaurants and bars and a ferry that runs to nearby St. John. Charlotte Amalie is about 20 minutes away and has a ferry and hydroplane dock with shuttles to several area islands.

Beautiful Sapphire Beach is just steps from the condos and there are several other notable beaches nearby. Coki Beach is a favorite of St. Thomas visitors as is the gorgeous Magens Bay, which is a short drive from the resort.

Guests say the condo units are spacious with a large living/kitchenette downstairs and a large bedroom upstairs. Units have patios, some with gorgeous sea views.

Guests say the complex is in need of a major overhaul with reports of aging fixtures, broken stairs and non-working appliances. Plumbing in particular seems to be an issue.

The condo complex has no front desk so guests can be confused about where to check in. An empty unit has been converted to an office, but guests say it's difficult to find.

While the condos are all similar, they're individually decorated and furnished. Some are more modern than others and guests say some have been updated while others have not.
