Hotel CrestHill Suites Albany (Albany, USA)

If you have a meeting at the university, going to open house, or just checking out the school, this hotel is an ideal location as the University of Albany is very close to the premises.

The facility is well equipped with a full sized stove and refrigerator. There are dishes, eating utensils, good sized comfy bed, and a nice sized bathroom. You may even have a desk and chair to place your laptop, or you can relax and watch TV in the living room. It's a very nice set up. The rooms are large and actually geared towards extended stays.

The hotel provides a decent complimentary breakfast. Mondays to Thursdays there are other food choices in the evening. There is also a Dunkin Donuts around the corner if you get in the mood for donuts and coffee. Downtown Albany and the I-90 and I-87 are close to the hotel as well.

The hotel is a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. Due to the roads and bad road signs, if you don't have GPS or if you are not patient, you could become very frustrated.

There's something about the fabric of the bed cover. It's slippery and won't stay on the bed. This may seem petty; however, if you just want to get a good night's sleep but the covers won't stay on, it can get annoying.

There's not too much within walking distance of the hotel as far as entertainment and eating places go. You will definitely need a vehicle if you want more excitement and variety.
