Hotel Crescent Bay Inn (Laguna Beach, USA)

If you like the idea of having the beach on your doorstep then you'll certainly appreciate this inns' location. Guests said they found it very handy not having to take transport or drive to the nearest beach as it was literally a few steps away from their accommodation. Many also said that being able to hire beach chairs and umbrellas for free at the inn was a great benefit.

Guests were pleased to report that their rooms were equipped with contemporary furniture and that the decor looked fresh and new. The bathrooms were also described as modern with up-to-date fixtures. Many appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms such as refrigerators and microwaves which allowed guests to store and prepare their own meals.

The majority said that they received a warm welcome upon arrival from the front-desk staff who were described as friendly and hospitable. Many said that they were well-looked after throughout their stay and appreciated all the assistance and advice offered to them by the staff members.

Only a few rooms have ocean views whilst others look out onto an alley way or a busy street  much to the disappointment of the guests who were expecting scenic views.

Guests whose rooms were overlooking the street said that they were often disturbed by traffic noise which prevented them from opening their windows. If you are a light sleeper it's advisable to ask for an ocean view room.

Those who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms said that they experienced difficulties as the Wi-Fi signal was said to be quite weak and intermittent meaning that many were unable to get a reliable connection.
