Soak up those hot tub views.
You can relax in the hot tub at the end of the day – or during it – and wonder at the views over the Mississippi. Later, it’s easy to stroll to some great restaurants, shops and bars, in the downtown district … just two blocks away.

Rooms with river views.
Tariffs aren’t cheap, but it really is worth paying a bit more for one of those ... never to be forgotten, river views. All rooms, by and large, are exceptionally clean and well presented … it would be a pity, though, to miss out on those river views.

A convenient location.
Staff members here are on the young side and eager to help you find whatever you want. A huge plus here is that there is so much available – on the doorstep. Chat to them for best value options.

Few crumbs of comfort.
The tariffs here are quite excessive, so it’s surprising that they add to guests’ woes by clobbering them with a further cost for breakfast. Many hotels now include this in the cost, or at least offer free teas and coffees. Not here, though! *Breakfast is OK ish. Coffee is good.

That sinking feeling.
Rooms are great; well decorated and furnished. The elephant in the room, though, is in the form of the sink. It’s not in the bathroom – where there appears to be plenty of space – but in the room itself. If you have visitors to your room ... there the sink is, for all to see.

Do they ever stop cleaning?
There must be some kind of cleaning rota, but this seems to be a permanent and sometimes noisy activity. Elevators and corridors are forever clogged up with cleaning staff and carts. *Better that than poor cleaning though!
