The hotel is a great location for all that Houston has to offer. It's a short drive to medical centers, business complexes, and the best of the city's museums. Nightlife, restaurants, and other entertainment are easily found within a short drive.

The stay is a nice one as the rooms are clean and comfortable. Many rooms have nicer features with different options. Reception provides quick and friendly service.

The price rate is a competitive one for the area. The free shuttle adds to the value and the onsite bar and restaurant saves from finding places to eat and drink.

There aren't many plugs in the room and the air conditioning is older. The unit runs loudly at night and has frequent problems with overcooling or not cooling the rooms. Overall, the outside also lacks an ambiance that is appealing.

Many room choices are just a basic stay with no extra features at all, other than a bed, bath, and limited TV channels. Not all rooms have refrigerators and if you want those kinds of features, you'll have to pay higher rates. Regardless, breakfast isn't included at any rate.

Some features of the rooms can be unpleasant, depending on personal tastes. The mattresses and pillows tend to be harder, rather than the luxurious bedding found at most modern hotels. The carpets do have stains and the rates in the bar and restaurant onsite can be prohibitive for those on watching their budget.
