Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Bakersfield (Bakersfield, USA)

Only delicious, fresh, expertly-prepared meals are had at the on-site restaurant where the service is as good as the food.  Guests reported fast and friendly service and a wide variety of both unique and familiar items.

Courtyard Bakersfield is easy to find as it is just off a main highway.  It's in a very central area surrounded by other hotels and lots of restaurants, shops and attractions and guests reported that the immediate grounds surrounding the hotel are likened to a beautiful park with lots of green space.

The guest rooms are always clean and feature comfortable beds and furnishings, lovely views of the surrounding area and ample space to move about and store items.  Guests also reported that the bathrooms are spacious and luxurious with excellent showers with lots of hot water and water pressure.

Guests reported having to wait for everything at Courtyard Bakersfield and that includes being checked in.  This is because staff members are slow and don't seem to care about guests.  Also reported was staff members who argue with guests when complaints are made, who cut corners in their duties to save time and who provide false information to basic questions.

Some guests reported that there is a lot of drinking and partying going on at this hotel at times and it gets very loud.  Sleep is next to impossible when all you hear is doors slamming, people yelling and singing at the top of their lungs and televisions and stereos turned up as loud as they can go.

The Jacuzzi and swimming pool are both nice but both are cold even though the pool is advertised as a heated pool and Jacuzzis are expected to be hot at all times.
