Fantastic Athens Location
This hotel is in an ideal location, as it's just one block to walk to the downtown area which includes many excellent restaurants. It's just a 15-minute walk to the University of Georgia, and a 10-minute walk to Sanford Stadium. This is also a great base if you are attending the Masters, as it's less than a two hour drive to Augusta.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast Will Cost You
This hotel does not offer a free breakfast of any kind, not even any courtesy items like a cookie or piece of fruit. And you won't find complimentary coffee in the lobby. Instead, you can get something at the onsite Bistro, but guests say this seems rather expensive.
negative:
Hotel Needs an Update
Many guests say this hotel is in desperate need of an update and some TLC. The overall property is tired, with old and dated furniture. There's also a musty smell which permeates the entire property and is rather off-putting.
negative:
Noisy Hotel
Several things seem to contribute to the noise level at this hotel, including loud air conditioner units. Guests say you can hear every little noise in the hallways, as well as doors slamming closed at night.
