Hotel Corona D'Italia (Florence, Italy)

The hotel is very central and is walking distance from many bars and restaurants, while the touristic places are also nearby. The main train station is a short walking distance also.

The staff members are said to be friendly and courteous to most guests. They spoke very good English helped guests call for a taxi and helped with any queries. The breakfast and cleaning staff are also mentioned to be nice people.

The breakfast buffet was found to be a very nice change from the basic coffee and pastry in the morning. It was an actual buffet with plenty of items such as cold meats, fruits and pastries. Many guests were able to find various items of their choosing.

The rooms were found to have a tiring décor and furnishings that needed replacement. The furnishings were too used and the décor was too tired and subdued.

The road noise and next door guest noises were too much for many guests to handle while they were trying to sleep. They recommend ear plugs to try and ensure a good night's rest. The noise was described as excessive, which made for frequent disruption

The Wi-Fi was not offered as a free service to guests, and those who wanted to use this had to pay for it. Some of the guests who paid were annoyed the price was not worth it, saying it was too slow. Only one device can be connected at a time.
