Guests comment that the budget friendly hotel is conveniently located, the basic rooms are comfortable for sleeping and that they had a good rest and that for an extended stay, they would return again and recommend to family and friends. The hotel has an on-site restaurant with room service and cafes and coffee houses are within a short stroll.

Guests comment that the 24-hour shuttle service to the Holy Kaba was a big convenience.

Several guests remark that the rooms are not cleaned to an acceptable standard, noting that the linens are stained, the shower grout dirty, windows dull, and the carpets soiled. Guests staying for several days complained that the rooms are not cleaned daily and repeated requests for service and fresh linens were ignored. Other guests noted that the hotel is dated, tired and ready for refurbishing.

Complaints of poor service and a dismissive attitude exhibited by the staff, was a concern for many guest. Room service is slow and guest request are ignored or processed with an unpleasant response. A musty smell was mentioned and some guest said the rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.
