Breakfast
The continental breakfast buffet is quite standard for most Italian hotels. Some guests thought it was too basic and lacked variety but most guests enjoyed it very much.

It's The Little Things
Commercio e Pellegrino keeps its guests happy. On foggy winter afternoons, the hotel will host a complimentary afternoon tea with Italian pastries. If it is raining, they will provide you with an umbrella for use during your stay. In addition, the staff has lots of tips to help save you money and great recommendations for places to explore.

Minor Details
The rooms are somewhat smaller than expected, but standard for European hotels. In addition, guests found the limited power outlet availability and the lack of coffee maker/tea kettle inconvenient. Complimentary tea and coffee is available in the lobby, however. Also, if you're staying on the top floor, keep in mind that the elevator only goes up to the third floor, meaning you'll have to walk up a flight on foot. This may be a problem if you have a lot of luggage or have difficulties with stairwells.

A/C, N/A
A few guests had problems with their air conditioner, saying it did not work during their stay.

Noisy Streets
Because the hotel has such a central location, some of the rooms look out onto a busy street. Several guests thought it was too noisy to sleep. Not to worry though, you can request a room facing away from the street ahead of time, but bring earplugs just in case.
