Positive Reviews
positive:
Lovely surroundings.
Northrock Suites is surrounded by stretches of green grass and some of the area's most interesting public spaces, making it a fantastic launching pad for exploring the city. There are also cafes and art-focused facilities in the streets nearby.
positive:
Great for budget stays.
Despite having a wealth of luxury facilities and features that you might find at a more expensive resort, Northrock Suites is reasonably priced for the area, and provides everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Wichita. The atmosphere alone sells the hotel as an upscale experience.
positive:
Spacious rooms.
The room sizes at Northrock Suites live up to their "suite" name, allowing more than enough space for you and your fellow guests to relax and pack away items throughout the room. The bathroom areas are also sized well, permitting more movement than usual.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some dated aspects.
The carpeting, drapes, and several other areas of guest rooms and common areas are dated in their design, and should be renovated to fit the complex's more contemporary appearance. This is largely aesthetic, but still worth noting overall.
negative:
Facility sizing is underwhelming.
The facilities at Northrock Suites are generally well-equipped, but leave something to be desired in regards to their actual size and dimensions. The pool area, for instance, is not as large as it ought to be for the amount of guests who use it, and the common areas feel too small in places like the lobby.
negative:
Room mishaps.
Some issues have been known to occur with booking and room selection, with a few guests receiving the wrong room booking and being unable to alter their assigned quarters after the check-in process. Be sure to double-check your reservations and bring a paper copy.
