Clean and well-appointed rooms, lots of sockets
At first glance, a number of guests expressed their apprehension at the location of this hotel, which is in an area of Houston that some found rather unappealing. However, the overall appearance of this hotel – and especially its interior – was a real treat. Guests were very gratified to find units clean, bright and very well-appointed. Those packing lots of gadgets were also pleased to note that rooms boasted multiple plugs and sockets.

Friendly staff, comfy beds and a cool pool
The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. Again, this is something that helped to raise this property up from its surrounds. The amenities here – especially the comfortable beds – were all-around solid, but the grotto-like pool was a real hit with guests.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Hard to find
This little gem of a property was certainly tough to find. Some guests noted that the address wasn’t representative of its physical location; many commented that it was actually one block over from FM 1960.
negative:
Spotty Wi-Fi and odd, damp smells
The Wi-Fi here was intermittent, with consistent reports of spotty and weak coverage. The larger problem, however, were the odd damp smells in rooms. In some units, this wet smell was all-pervasive.
negative:
Surrounded by traffic
This hotel is situated at the epicenter of a notorious Houston traffic hotspot. As such, many found that accessing the property required both considerable time and patience, qualities in short supply at the end of a long journey.
