It’s open 4 till 9pm and there are snacks on offer. It saves going out to a restaurant if all you want is a quiet drink and something to eat. Many stay here because of the close proximity to the airport. Getting there couldn’t be easier. You could even walk – it’s so close – but the shared shuttle is free and reliable. Why bother walking!

Beds are super comfy and the hotel has a well-deserved reputation for providing the essentials for a good night’s sleep.

The keycard is much more convenient than dragging a key round with you. Simple to use, it makes life much easier.

Bathrooms are small. They are  just a tad on the cramped side - and they suffer from mold and smell quite a bit. In a hotel with a number of pluses, the bathroom is quite a let-down.

Sometimes the front desk response to your enquiry can be rather abrupt. It’s difficult to appreciate at the time but, life today means that they are trying to do a number of things at the same time. Put any of their frustration down to pressure … and call back later when things are quieter. The truth is that, in an effort to save on costs, the existing staff members are being pushed to the limit.

It’s conveniently located and many of the facilities are ideal for commercial travelers. It’s not quite as impressive as the base for a family or romantic break. There are some day to day cleanliness issues and that wretched mold smell will put an end to any romantic urges.
