Guests were pleased that their rooms included the hotel's free continental breakfast buffet. They appreciated how the available offerings encompass both hot and cold foods, and there were comments that the variety of this buffet is more extensive than what's usually offered at hotels of this price point.

Guests were very pleased by the comfort of their beds. They thought the mattresses gave an adequate amount of support and gave feedback to say that the pillows were especially lovely. Guests also liked that the hotel provides pillows with a choice of firmness.

Usually, guests found that the staff members treated them very well and were genuinely eager to help. Also, the demeanour of staff was consistently good even when guests were arriving at odd hours.

Guests said it seemed like the housekeepers consistently faltered when it came to cleaning the bathrooms. They spotted small but noticeable flaws such as areas that were discoloured from previous guests, and stray hairs. These problems made them have less-than-wonderful impressions about the hotel's cleanliness.

Guests said the hotel's showers did not offer the amount of water pressure they expected. They were not sure if this was a plumbing system fault, or a restriction put in place by the hotel to save water, but found it annoying all the same.

Even though this is now a non-smoking property, guests said they could smell stale smoke that was probably left from when smoking was once allowed. The issue was especially prevalent in the rooms, but also in the public areas.
