Negative Reviews
negative:
Some noise from the corridor.
Some guests have complained that the room's aren't very well insulated, so there can be a fair amount of noise from people going by in the corridor, slamming doors, or stomping about on the floor above. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to pack some earplugs.
negative:
Some rooms smell of smoke.
While rooms seem to be kept very clean, in some rooms, even those which are non-smoking, guests say that there's a lingering smell of smoke, which isn't that pleasant. It seems that the rooms could use a good airing and perhaps new furnishings to get rid of it.
negative:
Some maintenance issues.
While generally well-maintained, there are a few issues starting to appear around the hotel, from drainage issues in the bathrooms, to needing a fresh lick of paint and carpets needing replacing in a few places. Mostly, the issues are minor, but fixing them would really pep the place up.
