Hotel Cloud 9 Inn (Seaside Heights, USA)

Cloud 9 Inn appeals as a cheap place off of the boardwalk, with essentially a roof over your head, and somewhere to use as a base when going to and from the beach. The main boardwalk attractions are within a few minutes of walking, as well as several off the shore sites of interest and leisure activities.

The staff are pleasant and friendly, and do their best to try to help you have a nice stay. At the very least, you'll get smiles and polite conversation, and genuine attempts to do what they can given their limited positions.

So far, no other positive opinion has been expressed by the guests about this motel.

This is a low-cost rental by the beach, with not much favorable except its location. The rooms are well past their prime, and often housekeeping is sub-standard. Beds and linens aren't so plush either. It's one of those places where if you just really need somewhere to stay and options are low, take a chance.

No-smoking doesn't seem to be well enforced here, and there's not much of an effort to curtail noise either. Although the desk staff are nice, should a complaint or concern warrant management, you're not likely to get a positive or timely response, if any response at all.

Door locks are either flimsy or don't work, and people come and go that don't seem like registered guests. Keep that in mind, that other guests have reported a small sense of security when settling down for the night.
