This is an affordable spot, just seven miles from central Rockford, with standard features and a simple continental breakfast served daily.

The rooms are quite spacious with the expected amenities provided, although perhaps a bit outdated.

Positive, friendly staff are the norm here. If you need anything, try the desk first. They'll surely go out of their way to assist you!

Some of the rooms are better than others. Some appear to have been missed by housekeeping entirely - for a long time. From the stained linens to dirty towels with holes in them to dusty tables, peeling wallpaper, sagging beds, missing lightbulbs and various types of bugs, both alive and dead, you may be in for a cleanliness nightmare.

If you're looking forward to certain features, like the outdoor pool or exercise room, please call ahead to find out if their maintenance has been completed. Some have been disappointed to find them closed upon arrival. The building is poorly lit in some areas and smells very much like the carpeting needs to be cleaned or replaced throughout. Vending machines are often missing items in a remarkable fashion.

It appears the normal clientele don't care too much for keeping things nice. The property has been damaged to the point where they place a substantial deposit on your card at check-in. Don't be surprised to smell marijuana smoke permeating the hallways or wafting into your room from next door.
