Hotel Clarion Pointe Galveston Seawall (Galveston, USA)

The excellent location right next to the beach affords the hotel stunning views over the Gulf of Mexico and there is lots to see and do in the surrounding area with bars, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance and just a little further away is Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark which is around ten minutes' drive. .

The customer service provided is fantastic with staff really friendly and hospitable and always going above and beyond to be welcoming to guests and really make them feel at home with the little touches greatly appreciated such as giving candy to children on arrival, giving guests complimentary wine and chocolate when being notified of a special occasion and being smooth and efficient with check-in after a long day travelling for some guests. .

There have been many positive comments made about the hotel's pool with it being well-maintained by staff and kept clean so it is very inviting. You can even see the sea from here as well and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. .

The carpets are very dirty throughout the whole building with reports that they are so dirty you cannot actually see what colour they should be in places. .

The air conditioning can be very noisy and at times it doesn't work properly so it isn't possible to regulate the temperature and rooms are far too hot or conversely far too cold. .

According to reports rooms are dirty and the bed linen is stained with some guests even finding hair from previous room occupants in the beds which gives the impression that bedding has not been changed. .
