Hotel Citi Hostels (Dublin, Ireland)

This hotel is a short walk away from just about everything, from the shops on the high street to St. Stephen's Green. With easy access to tram stops nearby, it's simple to get to anywhere you need to go. And the price is excellent, especially for Dublin.

The rooms are cleaned daily. So unless you're sharing a large room with messy people, you won't have to worry about having to sleep in a dirty chamber.

The staff is, generally, friendly and accommodating of guests. Though the facilities are basic - it's a hostel after all, you'll feel welcomed and will have an easy time checking in and getting to your room.

The beds in some of the rooms are fairly old, with some guests complaining that they could feel the mattress springs clearly through the bedding. In addition, some of the bathrooms need a bit of touching up in the form of new paint and small repairs.

The walls are extremely thin. So don't forget that if you're loud, your neighbours will hear you; and if they're loud, you might not get any peace and quiet. Bring a pair of earplugs to block out the noise if you want to make sure you won't be disturbed when trying to sleep.

The rooms are not heated. Make sure to wear warm clothing if you're staying here in cool or cold weather. Some guests have also chosen to bring their own bedding along with them. But while the provided bedding is clean, it might not be a bad idea to bring your own if you're concerned about staying warm at night.
