Hotel Cidade Velha (Lagos, Portugal)

Guests always feel at ease form the moment they first walk into the hotel to the moment when they check out. The staff members treat you very warmly and in a courteous manner. They have a kind approach that makes you feel at home.

The hotel is close to transport links such as Lagos Bus and Train Station which are a few minutes' walk away. The Praia Dona Ana Beach is also very conveniently located and easily accessible on foot. There a number of good restaurants as well as bars in the area.

All the spacious and brightly decorated rooms are well individually furnished.  A well-set dining area and living room can be found in each room and this was a cause of great joy to many. The beds are large and very comfortable.

A few guests have complained that the high noise levels, especially in rooms close to the street, even thought the rooms were apparently soundproofed. Noise coming in from the corridors and other rooms was also an issue.

A few guests have complained about the hotel's Wi-Fi service as being spotty. The Wi-Fi signal does not reach all of the rooms especially on third floor.

A few guests complained about the scarce number of parking spots near the hotel. The parking situation was terrible particularly during the weekends when locals flock the area. Others who found the parking spaces full had to seek other parking elsewhere.
